StorySparkle is built for children learning English as a second language. Every story is graded by our SESL© algorithm, narrated in RP UK English, and highlighted word by word as it's read aloud.
Our Mission
At StorySparkle, we believe every child deserves to read English expressively and fluently — whatever language they speak at home.
We built a reading platform for children aged 5 to 15 who are learning English as a second language. Our SESL© algorithm grades every story on 100+ parameters and maps it to a CEFR level — so a parent can choose a story knowing it sits just above what their child can already read comfortably.
Every story is narrated in neutral UK English Received Pronunciation — never a robotic text-to-speech — and highlighted word by word as it plays. Children can slow it down, watch a narrator pronounce a word on video, or switch on a dyslexia-friendly reading mode.
